We currently have an opening for a Product Line Coordinator at our Wilsonville, OR plant.

In addition to Tech-Mfg III duties the Product Line Coordinator coordinates operations, improves team productivity, cooperates with Testers, assists supervisors, serves as a liaison between various functions and departments, and develops as a leader.
Job responsibilities include:
A. Perform all duties as a Manufacturing Tech III
B. Lead Product Line to support production goals
C. Guide, oversee, and coordinate work operations to respond positively to unusual situations, changes, materials, and varying labor requirements
D. Perform production planning/training for product line, including directing daily work activity and training for Mfg Tech I, II, III
E. Ensure Safe work operations of product line personnel and promote employee communication for safety suggestions
F. Work with FLL to report material shortage, quality, training, and scheduling issues
G. Improve team productivity. Measure and monitor past and present performance and track progress toward goals, objectives, and plans.
H. Work closely with Testers and FLL to ensure continuous application of quality control standards to products and work processes. Promote continuous quality improvement.
I. Schedule maintenance on shop equipment with OPEX group
J. Manage Product Line supplies and parts, such as tools, equipment needs, and Kanban
K. Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive ability, and analytical problem solving aptitude with individuals and groups to facilitate process improvements within teams
L. Assist in training, instruction, and guidance to employees; promote cross-training
M. Work with engineering and management to resolve technical issues and review released shop drawings
N. Assist in maintaining and communicating daily production standards and schedules and necessary metrics; providing input on work hours needed to complete a job
O. Serve as a liaison between different functions internal and external to the department
P. Coordinate resources to meet production requirements
Q. As needed, ability to work on production line to fill in at every step of the production process to keep gear on schedule.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
HS Diploma or GED
Minimum of five (5) years experience in a manufacturing environment
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Job Criteria
Leadership skills
Basic understanding of blue prints/electrical schematics
Fork lift experience
Working knowledge of computer programs: Word, Excel, Outlook (PowerPoint a plus)
Operate N/P machine and engrave N/P's
Ability to motivate and train employees, and promote and maintain morale, cooperation, and productivity among team members
Excellent written and oral communication skills
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Associates Degree with a Technical or Business focus from an accredited institution
Experience shipping FedEx
Technical product experience within the position's product line
Experience training incumbents in all positions within specified product line
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, squat, reach to or below shoulder level, lift, carry, push, pull and use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to climb and reach above shoulder level. The employee is regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to push/pull up to 50 pounds. the employee is occasionally required to push/pull greater than 50 pounds with assistance.
