Summary:
Our company is seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall Estimator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the commercial drywall industry and be able to accurately estimate project costs, create proposals and close sales.
This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Review blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements Visit project sites to take accurate measurements and evaluate conditions Create detailed estimates, including labor, materials, and overhead costs Develop proposals and presentations to present to clients Build and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers Negotiate contracts and close sales Collaborate with project managers and field personnel to ensure successful project execution Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as needed Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Keep up-to-date with industry trends, products, and techniques Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial drywall estimation and sales Strong mathematical and analytical skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Education:
Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field required Job Type:
